Optimizing your website to rank high in the search engines can be a challenge and one of the areas you don’t want to over look is looking over your competitors shoulder to see what they are doing well that you might want to incorporate into your seo campaign or what opportunities they’ve missed that you can take advantage of.
Our SEO Competitive Analysis will take a look at one or two of the competitors of your choice and will do a thorough technical and competitive analysis that examines how your site measures up in:
- Search engine ranking - where do you and your competitors rank for your selected search terms on Google, Yahoo and MSN?
- Optimization efforts - Is the site over-optimized?
- Content - the more useful content a search engine can access on a website the better the chances for top rankings.
- Inbound links & outbound links - Links matter and it’s the quality and not necessarily the quantity of the links that count. We’ll look at both factors along with anchor text and whether there are any questionable outbound links that you should remove from your site.
- Deep links - Deep links are often overlooked during a link building campaign, we’ll look at the link profile for your competitors sites and compare that with your site and make specific recommendations on how you should approach deep linking.
- SEO friendly site construction - Can the search engines crawl and read the content? In other words, how easily indexed are your competitors websites vs your site?
- Download time - Download time can negatively impact rankings and conversions. The findings in the competitive analysis report are used throughout the SEO process and are part of the basis of the strategic and tactical recommendations for optimizing your site.
